She's always been able to read him. It rips through her heart, to know she's still able to.
Tears her nearly in half, to have the apology fall from his lips. It feels, almost, like he's apologizing for so much more.
The shake of her is slight, "It was my fault, Your Grace."
So much more than the brushing of their skin together was.
