There are four main families that Rachel is considered to be a part of. Of these four, three are well-respected, old Deck families with connections primarily to the Clubs.

THE MOORES

Motto: Neart (Strength, Scottish Gaelic)
Colours: Red, Grey, and Gold
Affiliated Suit: Hearts, Clubs

The first of the Moores to arrive to the Deck was Rachel's grandmother Elaine, a rebellious Scots-Irishwoman who ran away from her family around the age of 16. She stumbled upon the Deck, joined the Clubs, and remained their until her death. She had a surprise reunion with her younger brother upon his and his family's arrival on the Deck, but they weren't very close. Still, it is through his offspring that the Moore family name continues to live on in the Deck.

THE FIOROS

Motto: Semper Fidelis (Always Faithful, Latin)
Colours: Green and Dark Blue
Affiliated Suit: Clubs

An ancient Clubs family whose existence traces back to the very beginning of the Deck. There are rumors that after an altercation with a Joker, members of the family were cursed to die before the age of forty-five. Because of this, the family is now deceased in the male line, with the only surviving blood-member being Rachel herself.

THE AUCOINS

Motto: Famille Avant Tout (Family Above All, French)

Colours: Gold, Silver, White

Affiliated Suit: Clubs

Immigrated to the Deck during the French revolution, the Aucoins quickly immersed themselves in Deck life. They are best known for their obsessive ideas of keeping the bloodline of the family French and/or Clubs. The current head of the family is Byron Aucoin II.

THE CAUSTELLOS

Motto: Carthanacht (Kindness, Irish Gaelic)

Colours: Blue, White, Purple

Affiliated Suit: Clubs

Originally from Ireland, the Caustellos stumbled upon the Deck while fleeing from the Nine Years' War/Tyrone's Rebellion in 1596. They settled into the Clubs and adopted the idea of Clubs loyalty into one of familial loyalty-- the two became interchangeable, and the family has since become infamous for disowning members of the family who choose to switch Suits. Currently headed by Caleb Caustello.
